Maki Beds, in facts

Maki Beds is booking and property management software for independent cabins, glamping sites, bed and breakfasts and small hotels with up to 20 units. It runs in a web browser, on a computer or a phone, in English and Spanish. It is made by Asvara Labs LLC, a company registered in Wyoming, USA.

• Calendar. Every booking by unit and by day. Block dates, and create a booking straight from the calendar.
• Bookings. Create, change and cancel bookings, mark no-shows, and keep each booking's status and history.
• Rates. A base rate, rates by day of the week, seasons, date exceptions, fees, taxes, paid extras and promo codes.
• A booking page for your website. Guests see availability and the price with fees and taxes, and the dates are held for 15 minutes while they pay.
• Payments. Card payments into your own Stripe account, with Apple Pay and Google Pay where available. Deposits and balances, payment links, Stripe refunds, and records of cash or bank transfers.
• Guest profiles. History, notes, contacts and search. Duplicate profiles can be merged.
• A page for each booking. The guest sees its status, the balance and arrival directions, and can pay the balance there.
• Email. A booking confirmation to the guest, a notice to you, and payment receipts.
• Your day. Arrivals, departures and to-dos on one screen, plus maintenance tickets and a list of your suppliers.
• Import. Bring bookings and guests in from a CSV or Excel file (Powered and Native).
• An AI agent on WhatsApp (Powered and Native). It answers your guests at any hour, checks live availability, quotes from your rates, holds the dates for 15 minutes, sends a Stripe payment link, tells guests their booking details and hands the conversation to you when it should.
• Inbox. Every WhatsApp conversation in one place, with Meta-approved message templates (Powered and Native).

• No Airbnb, Booking.com or Vrbo sync yet. The channel connection is in certification. Until it is live, Maki Beds takes direct bookings only.
• The AI agent answers on WhatsApp only. Not SMS, web chat, Instagram or Facebook Messenger.
• No website builder. You add the booking page to the website you already have, or share its link.
• No API keys or webhooks for your own integrations yet.
• No AI agent on Foundation.
• No more than 20 units on any plan today.
• No free trial.
• New accounts are by invitation only for now.

• A web browser, on a computer or a phone. Nothing to install.
• A Stripe account to take card payments. Stripe checks your identity and bank account; how long that takes is up to Stripe.
• For the AI agent (Powered and Native): WhatsApp Business through Meta. A Meta business account, a phone number that isn't in use in the WhatsApp app, and a payment method on the WhatsApp Business account. Meta approves message templates, from minutes up to 24 hours.
• A website, if you want the booking page on it. If you don't have one, share the booking page link.
